Fascinators from our workshop.

Last Saturday in The Stitch and Make Studio Amelia and I ran our fascinator workshop.
We had a relaxing and creative day showing our class tricks with feathers, jewels, fabrics and sequins

My friend Michelle O’callaghan from On Your Head Be It-design and millinery, very kindly donated a load of feathers and some lovely trims. She has the most wonderful range of hats for hire or to buy from her amazing studio on the Billing Road. She also sells Lulu Guinness bags and jewellery.

The two youngest girls in the group made these lovely fascinators to go with outfits they were planning.

These beautiful creations belong to Patsy and Alison, who worked really hard all day to produce something truly delightful.

Well done to everyone who came along on the day, it’s always a pleasure and a surprise to see what people can invent and create with imagination and a few taught skills. Our next workshop is the clutch bag from a vintage scarf on Sept 18th.
